Trust me — I’m your employer
Coming into this season, we tend to reflect on the year that was and what matters most in our lives…
With 2019 well underway and our clients ramping up their business activities, I had a chance over the holidays to reflect on our successes of 2018 and what the year ahead holds.
Whilst increased competition, disruption and consolidation continue to play out throughout the legal sector, our position in the market place of serving entrepreneurs, businesses, innovators, families offices, families and government remains in growing demand. Highlights included helping a global client with their national business model roll-out, working with a number of property developers to progress large-scale development projects, acting in a number of high profile corporate matters, representing clients in complex property, construction and insolvency litigation matters, assisting private clients with business and personal succession planning and facilitating dispute resolutions for high profile private clients.
In addition, we hosted our inaugural Fred Swaab Honorary Address in memory of the founder of our firm, which included recognising one of our clients for living the most prominent of our values: innovation and generosity of spirit.
However, the most rewarding aspect of 2018, was the feedback we received from our clients and the accolades we received from our peers. In a recent client satisfaction survey 87% of clients said they always or actively recommend Swaab and 98% said we take the time to understand them and their needs, while the firm and its partners received a combined eighteen (18) separate awards during the year. All of this is a direct reflection on our dedicated professionals who are selected because of their cultural alignment with our workplace, their focus on client service, and their commitment to excellence.
Our success in 2019 and beyond will be as a result of putting our people and our clients first and by living our values of: Commitment, Integrity, Excellence, Generosity of Spirit, Unity and Innovation. Our strong and enduring culture has and always will be the result of developing and nurturing long-term client relationships. I look forward to the exciting opportunities 2019 and beyond holds.
